This Privacy Policy relates to the information gathered and distributed by Psychbuzz.com.au.

Psychbuzz recognises the importance of protecting the privacy of personally identifiable information collected about our customers and users. Psychbuzz is bound by and committed to upholding the National Privacy Principles (NPPs) in the Privacy Act 1988 (Commonwealth) in relation to the collection, use, disclosure and storage of personal information.

Advertising

Psychbuzz’s primary purpose in collecting personal information is to provide services associated with the advertisement of employment opportunities for psychologists.  We also collect personal information to fulfil administrative functions associated with these services, such as billing, to enter into contracts with you, or third parties and for marketing and client relationship purposes.
The personal information Psychbuzz collects includes (but is not limited to) name, business name, address, email address, telephone number and, in some cases, financial details (such as banking details and credit card details). 


Membership

Psychbuzz requires you to provide certain personally identifiable information in order to use certain "Members Only" features and functions of the website. By providing such information, you consent to our collection and use of it, as described in this Privacy Policy.
The information you provide may include information provided during the registration process, including contact information, (such as your name, address and email address) and financial information, such as a credit card number, if you use services through the site. This information will be used to process your order and if necessary, to contact you regarding the status of your order. Psychbuzz may use your contact information to contact you regarding the status of your membership, registration or any orders you may place. Use of aggregate data

Psychbuzz may collect certain non-personal information about you based upon your behaviour on our website.  This information may include the identity of your Internet browser, the type of operating system you use, your IP address and the domain name of your Internet service provider.  We use this information to do internal research on our users’ demographics, interests and behaviour in order to optimise our goods and services including, without limitation, improving the content of the website.  This information is compiled and analysed on an aggregated basis.

In the event you choose to access such web sites, Psychbuzz is not responsible for any actions or policies of such third parties. Further, please note that the third party's privacy policy and security practices may differ from Psychbuzz standards. Psychbuzz assumes no responsibility nor does it control, endorse or guarantee any aspect of your use of the linked site. We recommend that you check the applicable privacy policy of such party before providing personally identifiable information to it, as its privacy policy may differ from Psychbuzz's.
Advertisers who place job advertisements on the Site are asked to comply with Australian Federal Privacy Policy with regard to their own information handling practices.
